TOURIST VISA:
If you arrive in Sharm el Sheikh and you are staying with us for less than 14 days you can enter the Sinai region only without a visa. Simply go up to the immigration counter and they will stamp your passport with a 14 day visa. There are, however, some exceptions....
* IF YOU PLAN ON DIVING IN RAS MOHAMMED NATIIONAL PARK OR ON THE THISTLEGORM YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A SINGLE ENTRY VISA.
* IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON LEAVING THE SINAI AND VISITING CAIRO OR ANOTHER PART OF EGYPT YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A SINGLE ENTRY VISA.
REGULAR SINGLE ENTRY VISA:
All visitors require at least a single entry Egyptian visa prior to entry into Egypt. In some cases, it is possible for nationals of some countries (i.e. British, Australian and New Zealander passport holders) to obtain their
single entry visa on arrival at Sharm el Sheikh International Airport (US$15.00, payable in foreign currency - correct at September 2009), though this information is subject to change, so please check. If you want to avoid lengthy queues upon arrival, we suggest you procure a single entry visa in advance of travel. If booking your holiday outside of the UK, please obtain a visa in your country of residence.
MULTIPLE ENTRY:
All travellers planning on visiting Jordan or Israel during their stay in Dahab will require a multiple entry Egyptian visa. Multiple entry Egyptian visas must be procured in advance of arrival in Egypt.
Your passport should have at least six months left on it (before it runs out) from the date you intend to return to England at the end of your trip. It should also have a blank page for the necessary visa stamp for Egypt.
